A not-for-profit network equipping and empowering changemakers taking grassroots action for change

Founded by Tiyana J in 2020, the Humanitarian Changemakers Network emerged from a series of student workshops across Brisbane to evolve into a national network support grassroots agents of change.

The Humanitarian Changemakers Network (HCN) supports grassroots changemakers through a number of projects and core focus areas:

  • Changemaker Q&A Podcast: A free podcast hosted by Tiyana that explores various topics related to social change, and directly answers questions from members of the HCN community.

  • Impact initiatives: HCN funds and supports community members to engage with and lead a range of issue-based initiatives to take action in their own community- current initiatives include Fixing Food, Changemaker Travel, and New Humanity.

HCN is funded and supported by the School of Social Impact a digital learning platform for changemakers from around the world to access resources, training programs, and networking opportunities tailored for changemakers at all stages of their journey.
